In our workshops in Mer and Reichshoffen, we take charge of all production stages, from the selection of superior quality materials right through to the finalisation of the products before they leave our factory. For its mattresses, Treca always chooses the most beautiful materials, whether they are natural, innovative or hypoallergenic. The choice of these natural materials is what guarantees unrivalled comfort, resulting in quality, tailor-made sleep.
White cotton
Cotton is a white plant fibre that surrounds the seeds of the cotton plant. Cotton is one of the most widely used raw materials in fabric design. Cotton is a breathable and hypoallergenic material, which will give you extra comfort. Its smooth and silky texture is highly sought after in the world of beds for its extreme comfort. Cotton is a breathable and hypoallergenic material, which will give you extra comfort.
Linen
Lin is a natural plant material found in temperate and humid areas near the sea, such as in northern France. It is increasingly used in textiles as it has several advantages: lightness, strength and absorbency. Linen can absorb up to 20% moisture. It has the property of being very insulating, keeping you cool in winter and warm in summer.
Natural silk
Silk is a natural fibre like linen or cotton. The only difference is that silk is an animal fibre like wool. It is made by the silkworm. To make silk fabrics, the cocoon woven by the worm is harvested, but this natural fibre can also be harvested from other arthropods or spiders. It is thermoregulating, keeping you cool in winter and warm in summer.
Cashmere
Cashmere is an animal fibre that comes from the long, silky undercoat of Tibetan goats. This fibre grows in winter and protects the goats from the cold. When the weather is warmer, the animal loses its coat, which is when the farmers start harvesting. Cashmere makes your mattress soft and warm. During the night, it will absorb your sweat and release it into the air when you leave your bed.
Pure virgin wool
Pure new wool is an animal fibre that comes from a lamb's first shearing. It is a hallmark of wood quality. Other animals that can produce wool include mohair goats, cashmere goats, camels, llamas, alpacas and angora rabbits. It is known to be hardwearing and to have a high thermal capacity, particularly in keeping us warm in winter.
Memory foam
Memory foam is a material made up of layers of polyurethane foam and viscoelastic foam. A memory foam mattress is recommended for people with back pain, joint pain and circulation problems. Memory foam moulds to your whole body and regains its original shape once you get up.
Softcare foam
SoftCare foam, when combined with Treca's Air Spring suspension, results in unrivalled comfort. It reduces the risk of dust mite allergy thanks to its durable and environmentally friendly acaricide treatment. It is a material that adapts to your body.
Lenpur
Lenpur is made from white pine branches, grown in Canada and China. This material is soft, shiny and odourless, which is why it is mainly used in beds. It has thermoregulatory properties, which gives you an unbeatable feeling of comfort when you sleep.
Bioneem
Bioneem is an organic and biodegradable product that does not affect insects such as bees, ladybirds and worms. It acts mainly on insect and mite pests such as whiteflies, aphids, mites, fly larvae and caterpillars.
Natural latex
Natural latex is a substance created by the sap of Hevea-Brasiliensis tree, better known as the rubber tree This material is considered "natural latex" when it contains at least 85% sap. Natural latex has thermoregulatory properties as it breathes from the inside, quickly eliminating moisture and thus keeping the bedding hygienic.
Outlast
Outlast® is a material made of microcapsules that self-regulate the temperature of your mattress. This technology was developed by NASA as it protects astronauts from temperature differences in space. The microcapsules absorb, store and release heat according to temperature variations. Outlast® limits sweating-related problems.
Fleece
Fleece refers to sheep's wool, and is warm and protective, yet ultra-lightweight. These properties mean it is ideal for beds, winter clothes and outerwear, as it provides a great middle layer of protection from the cold.
Ingeo
Ingeo is a 100% natural material that comes from corn seeds. This fibre is used in beds as it absorbs moisture and regulates your body temperature while you sleep. It is a fibre that is bio-compostable and made from renewable resources.
SeaCell
SeaCell is a fibre made from cellulose (the fibre structure of wood) and algae. This material guarantees unbeatable hygiene thanks to its moisture absorption. SeaCell is soft and resilient, which ensures perfect comfort and unrivalled well-being.
Phytobiolaine
Phytobiolaine is a hypoallergenic wool due to its treatment with lemon, lavender and eucalyptus essential oils. This wool provides warmth and softness. It also has thermoregulatory properties which bring optimal comfort.
