A French House combining heritage, creativity and commitment
Founded in Paris in 1935, the Maison Pierre Frey belongs to the great tradition of French textile houses, where creativity is in constant dialogue with heritage. From its inception, it has envisioned timeless fabrics, inspired by both the decorative arts and world cultures.
A family business spanning three generations, it has managed to uphold its high standards while reinventing itself. Led by Patrick Frey and subsequently by his sons Pierre, Vincent, and Matthieu, the House has developed a comprehensive vision of interior design, in which fabric serves as the starting point for entire environments.
This blend of heritage and modernity is expressed in particular through an exceptional heritage fund, comprising tens of thousands of textile documents dating from the 16th century to the present day. These archives inspire a form of contemporary creation that is free, bold, and deeply rooted in history.
Complementing this artistic dimension is a rare level of technical craftsmanship, led by its weaving workshops in the Nord region of France. The House thus embodies authentic luxury, where every fabric reflects a culture of detail and great craftsmanship.
